Michael Connell

Michael Shane Connell, 62, of Chouteau, passed from this life on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at his home. He was born on May 13, 1959 in Keetoneville, Louisiana; the son of Tommy Kent Chavis and Billy Lou Connell. He loved to fish and hunt every time he had the chance. He liked to spend time on his tractor, taking care of the yard and mowing. He also enjoyed watching football and was a big Dallas Cowboys fan. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family, especially his kids and grandkids. He leaves behind many wonderful memories for all to cherish and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Connell of the home; his sons, Joshua Paul Connell and wife Edna of Chouteau, and Tommy Kyle Connell and wife Kristy of Blackwell, Oklahoma; daughter, Jessica Connell of Hooks, Texas; brothers, Paul Connell of Wills Point, Texas, Mark Chavis of Keetoneville, Louisiana, and David Connell of Bozeman, Montana; sister, Cindy Powell of Tyler, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and Billy; and his son, Shane Connell
