Michael Roe Ross, 61, of Kenwood, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020 in Kenwood, Oklahoma. Mike was born on March 5, 1958 in Borger, Texas, the son of Woodrow Ross and Jo Anna (Davis) Ross. Mike married Geraldine Ballou on May 26, 1979 in the Euwasha Baptist Church and spent 40 years making a wonderful life together. He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. Mike was active an enjoyed fishing, horseback riding, golf and OU football. He also enjoyed quiet times reading. But most of all he loved his family and all the time spent with each one of them. Mike was a man of faith who loved his Lord. Mike leaves many wonderful memories for everyone to cherish.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 10 a.m. in the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Kenwood, Oklahoma with Reverend Steve Campbell and Reverend Richard Soldier officiating. Interment will be in the Emmanuel Cemetery in Kenwood with Eddie Proctor, Bobby Ballou, Tony Ballou, Buddy Ross, Eddie Ross, Kevin Backwater, Darrin Budder and Dale Scott serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers Adam Proctor, Curtis Dry, Junior Loftis, Rodney Sapp, Gerald Sapp, Nathan Six, Neil Six and Vincent Ross. Mike is survived by his wife, Geraldine Ross of the home; Sons, Stewart and wife, Amy Ross of Tahlequah, OK and Bud Ballou of Salina, OK; Daughter, Heather Harlin of Kenwood, OK; Brother, Anthony and wife, Caroline Ross of Kenwood, OK; Sisters, Faye Ross of Kenwood, Oklahoma, Janice and husband, Daniel Ballou of Kenwood, OK; Grandchildren, Aaron Smith, Blake Smith, Carlie Harlin, Jace Harlin, Darian Daniels, Jarred Blackbear, Baily Robbins, Kinzin, Kain and Kimbella Ballou; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Calvin Ross and one special nephew, Isaiah Sapp.
