Michelle Wilson

Michelle Lynette Wilson, 56, of Stillwater, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019 in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was born on December 6, 1962, on her mother’s 27th birthday, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, the daughter of James Cecil Wilson and LaVada (Spurgeon) Bennett. She graduated from Morris High School in 1981. Michelle went on to receive her Associate Degree in Nursing from Tulsa Junior College and then her Bachelor of Nursing Degree from Oklahoma State University. Throughout her 30-year career, she worked at many hospitals and surgery centers all over the state of Oklahoma. She ended up at Central Tech in Drumright as an LPN instructor, she loved this job with all her heart, making a lasting impression on many students. She was an avid OU Football fan, enjoying Thunder Basketball also. Michelle loved animals, especially cats and watching the animal channel. Michelle loved beyond all else her family, sons, Alec, Tyler and Bryce, and her beautiful granddaughters, Elizabeth, Adalyn and Saige. She has left a wonderful legacy for all to follow and cherish.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Brush Hill Baptist Church near Checotah, Oklahoma with Reverend Ron Forrest officiating. Michelle is survived by her mother, LaVada and step father Sam Bennett of Checotah, OK; her sons, Bryce Norcom of Edmond, OK and Tyler and wife Lauren Norcom of Oklahoma City, OK; granddaughters, Elizabeth, Adalyn and Saige Norcom; her sisters, Leanne Hill and husband, David of Pryor, OK and Tammy Wilson of Okmulgee, OK; her brother, James Kevin Wilson of Pryor, OK; step mother, Pauline Wilson of Okmulgee, OK; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, James Wilson and one son, Alec Reid Norcom.
