Mildred Chidester

Mildred Luvena Chidester, 85 of Pryor, passed away Thursday, September 01, 2016 in Pryor, Ok. She was born on October 15, 1930 in Pryor, Ok; the daughter of Thomas Ivey Edwards and Maggie Sullivan. On November 25, 1946 she married Carrol Everett Chidester. Mildred and Carrol ran the family dairy together. She loved to can, garden and sew. Mildred loved her family and looked forward to spending her time with them. She will be remembered by all the wonderful memories she leaves behind and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her son, Bobby Gene and wife Diane Chidester of Pryor; 3 daughters, Nancy and Leon Herron of Pryor, Ok, Linda and husband Robert Waggoner from Pryor, Ok; Patricia and husband Roger Holmes from Pryor, Ok; 2 Nephews, Jim and Pam Pace from Kansas, Fred Pace from Nebraska; 5 grandsons, Carrol and Robert Chidester, Jason and Chris Herron and Randy Waggoner. 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Maggie Edwards; husband, Carrol Chidester; 2 sisters, Mamie McDonald and Billie Juan Pace; 1 great grandson, Matthew Herron.
