Mildred Little

Mildred Leona Little, 72, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2012 in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was born on September 11, 1939 in White City, Kansas, the daughter of Shirley Brooks Cole and Laura Ahniwake (Watkins) Cole. Mildred graduated from Nowata High School in the class of 1957. She moved to Pryor in 1982 from Sulphur, Oklahoma. Mildred worked in the food industry as a waitress. She enjoyed cooking and reading. Mildred attended the First Baptist Church in Pryor for several years before she was unable to attend the last several years. Mildred loved her family and will be so very missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services for Mildred will be held on Monday, March 26, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the Shipman‘s Funeral Chapel with Reverend Andrew Rahbein officiating. Interment will be in the Hogan Cemetery in Locust Grove, Oklahoma. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at the funeral home. Mildred is survived by her son, Greg A. Little of Tulsa, OK; her brothers, Curtis and wife, Betty Cole of Pryor, OK, John W. Cole of Blackburn, OK and Charles E. Cole of Sulphur, OK; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley and Laura Ahniwake Cole.
