Mildred Louise Stott, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 94. She was born on February 20, 1929 in Lebanon, Missouri, to Edwin and Anna Mae (Ivey) Wagoner. She married her loving husband, Merril Stott and they spent almost 70 years together before his passing in 2018. She loved poetry, and spending time with her family, especially when it came to playing games. She had such a kind soul and a heart of Gold and always clapped for everyone else. Mildred was a member of the Pryor First United Methodist Church.
Mildred leaves behind her son, Drew Stott and wife Sherry of Pryor, OK; daughters, Laura Bell and husband Morgan, and Libby Stott of Broken Arrow, OK; grandchildren, Amanda Bell and husband Ahmed Makaty, Alex Bell, Heather Trout and husband Dalton, as well as Courtney Ashmore and husband Nick. She also leaves behind a step grandchild Miriam Boydston along with step great-grandchildren Baxter Boydston and Lexi Furtado, as well as many special nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Merril Stott; infant daughter, Catherine Ann Stott; parents, Edwin and Anna Mae; and eight siblings. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Pryor Ministry Center or the local Salvation Army.
Funeral services for Mildred will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 2, 2023, at The First United Methodist Church of Pryor with Pastor Greg Tolle officiating. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 1, 2023 at Shipman’s Funeral Home.
