Mirta Ann Beyer, 91, of Pryor, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022 in Pryor. She was born on February 18, 1931 in Buffalo, New York; the daughter of John Rigo and Ines (Snagnetti) Rigo. She married John “Bud” Beyer on May 13, 1950 in Buffalo, New York and worked in the home most of her life, tending to her husband and children. Mirta loved playing the violin and was a proud member of an orchestra. She was a wonderful cook, and always offered roast beef to those who would come over. Mirta also looked forward to spending time with her grandkids, and giving her great grandkids rides on her walker. She was strong in her faith and was a member of the St. Mark Catholic Church in Pryor. Mirta leaves behind many memories for her family to cherish and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Shipman’s Funeral & Cremation Service.

Mirta is survived by her son, Paul Beyer and wife Korina of Pryor, Oklahoma; daughter, Nancy LeDonne and husband Don of Williamsville, New York; brother, Rudy Rigo and wife Rosie of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; 4 grandchildren, Don and Lauren LeDonne of New York, Christie and Mike Daddario of New York, Jonathon and Lexie Beyer of Inola, Oklahoma, and Emily and Jeff Turner of Swartz, Louisiana; 7 great grandchildren, Ellie, Lucas, John, Phoebe, Madison, Landrie, and Baby Daddario; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Ines Rigo; husband, John Beyer, and daughter, Jane Beyer.
