Mitchell Wolfe Sr., 71, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2011 in Pryor, Oklahoma. Mitchell was born on February 22, 1940 in Kenwood, Oklahoma, the son of Chick Wolfe and Jeannie (Blackbear) Wolfe. He worked as a self employed mechanic. He married Cathy Lee Horseman who preceded him in death in 1998. Mitchell attended Kenwood and Salina Schools where he was a lifetime resident of Delaware County. He enjoyed listening to his scanner and visiting with his family and friends. Mitchell will be so very missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral Services for Mitchell will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Euwasha Baptist Church with Reverend Richard Soldier officiating. Interment will be in the Euwasha Cemetery at Kenwood, Oklahoma, with Ben Watie, David Wayne, Mark Proctor, David Crawford, Michael Lemmings and James Skagg serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearer is Brandon Littledave. He is survived by his son, Mitchell Wolfe Jr. of Pryor, OK; two sisters, Betty Wolfe of Jay, OK and Maggie Tennison of Jay, OK; one brother, Jimmy Wolfe of Noel, MO; two grandchildren, Terrell Wolfe of Tahlequah, OK and DaShawn Wolfe of Tahlequah, OK; numerous nieces and nephews; many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jennie and Chick Wolfe; four brothers, Rider Wolfe, Billy Jo Wolfe, Dick Wolfe and Jr. Blackbear; one sister, Nancy Faye Wolfe.
