Monika Rush

Monika Rush, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on September 29, 1955, in Furth, Germany, to Kurt and Helga (Marklien) Hohn. 

Monika was a woman of many talents and passions. She found joy tending to her flowers and plants, baking delicious cinnamon rolls, and expressing her creativity through art as a talented painter. She loved birds and cherished the companionship of her rottweiler and chihuahua.

Above all else, Monika treasured her family. She devoted much of her time to caring for others and especially adored spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her warmth and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her.

Monika is preceded in death by her parents, Kurt and Helga Hohn, as well as her grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul Rush of the home; son, Deral Vincent of Kansas City, Missouri; daughter, Pamela Vincent of Fairland, Oklahoma; sister, Gabriele Maudlin and husband Del of Spavinaw, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
