Nancy Aurand

Nancy Jean Aurand, 73, of Chouteau, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at her home. She was born on August 19, 1946 in Pontiac, Michigan; the daughter of Robert Everett and Myrtle Geraldine (Blanchard) Whitmore. Nancy worked at Labinal, Inc. in Pryor for many years and married Ronald Aurand on July 3, 2003 in Miami, Oklahoma. Nancy loved working on her farm, raising chickens, quail, horses and goats. Nancy was Ronald’s right hand and they loved to do everything together and help each other along the way. She looked forward to attending her son’s Barbeque picnics and spending time with those she loved most. She leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Ronald Aurand of the home; son, Rob Muhlhauser of Chouteau, Oklahoma; daughters, Brenda Spencer of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Linda Crosson of Chouteau, Oklahoma; brother, Jack Whitmore of Florida; 3 sisters, Vicky Whitmore of Michigan, Joan Johnson of Michigan and Betty Joe Van Kirk of Michigan; 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Myrtle Whitmore and 1 sister.
