Nancy Herron

Nancy Herron, 68, of Pryor, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022022,2 in Tulsa. She was born on July 7, 1953 in Pryor, the daughter of Carrol and Mildred (Edwards) Chidester. She married Lester Leon Herron on March 23, 1973 in Chouteau, Oklahoma and they have celebrated 49 years together. Nancy worked in the home most of her life and enjoyed tending to her flowers and gardening. She was also a wonderful cook, and loved her animals. Above all, Nancy looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren. She leaves her family many wonderful memories to cherish and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held by the family at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, June 12, 2022, at the Chouteau Park.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Lester Leon Herron of the home; sons, Christopher Herron and Emily Prater of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Jason Herron and wife Donna of Chouteau, Oklahoma; sisters, Linda Wagoner and husband Robert of Pryor, Oklahoma and Patricia Holmes and husband Roger of Pryor, Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren, Justin, Brady, Dalton, Meagan, Tyler, Trenton, Mallory, Mariah, Mark, Madison, Corbin, Conley, Cason, and Bella; 8 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carrol and Mildred Chidester; brother, Bobby Chidester; and grandson, Matthew Herron.
