Nancy Hesser

Nancy Louise (Ballou) Hesser, 74, of Colcord, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at her home. She was born on November 27, 1943 in Claremore; the daughter of Nelson and Sarah (Sanders) Ballou. She worked as a CNA for many years at Monroe Manor. She enjoyed gardening and working crossword puzzles. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and leaves behind many memories for her family to cherish.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m, Monday, September 10, 2018 in the New Jordan Church in Salina with Reverend Stanley Grass officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Rock Indian Cemetery in Locust Grove with Galveston Brown, Tyler Brown, Alan Riding, Rufus Ballou, Keven Wadlow, and Kaleb Wadlow serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearer will be Danny Wadlow. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, September 9, 2018 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. She is survived by her sons, Therin Brown and wife Rose of Colcord, Oklahoma and Shawn Brown and wife Shelly of Dewey, Oklahoma, daughter, Ladonna Brown of Inola, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Nelson and Sarah Ballou; son, Gracin Brown; brother, Rufus Ballou, and sisters, Maggie Kingfisher, and Eva King.
