Nancy Ellen Lott

Nancy Ellen Young, 73, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She resided at York Manor Nursing Home in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Nancy grew up in Virginia Beach, VA, graduating from Kellam High School and attending Old Dominion University. Nancy was employed by Sears at Pembroke Mall in the sewing department. She was predeceased by her parents, Gustaf A. and Shirley A. Swanson.

Survivors include children, Geannine Noel O’Brien of Raleigh, NC (2 children), Caroline Christine Schaffer of Newport News, VA (sons Bryce and Chase), Nancy Ellen Roberta Lott II, and Robert Richard Nike Lott; siblings, Daniel A. Swanson of Portsmouth, VA, Jeffery A. Swanson of Titusville, FL, and Debra D. Kerzel of Dundee, MI (spouse Karl); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Nancy will be remembered as a sweet, gentle soul who loved her girls. She will hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew her, especially her big brother Dan, who was her lifelong champion, and Geannine who she lovingly called “Baby Jem”. Nancy left this physical world to join her parents and Jesus in Heaven.
