Nathalia Mae Brazeal

Nathalia Mae Brazeal, also known to many as Faye, 94, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at her home. She was born on January 3, 1929, to William and Neevil (Martin) Cooper. She attended and graduated from Oologah High School and resided in Oologah for many years before moving to Pryor. Enjoying the outdoors, she loved tending to the flowers in her garden, especially when it came to her hibiscuses. She was a proud member of Top’s and Weight Watchers. Well known for being a great cook, she took much pride in doing so. She leaves behind many wonderful memories for all to cherish and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 27, 2023, in the Oakhill Cemetery in Oologah, OK, with Reverend Jerry Moore officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Shipman’s Funeral Home. She is survived by her son, Gary Brazeal and wife Phyllis of Oologah, OK; daughter, Gail Gwartney and husband Rick of Pryor, OK; grandchildren, Kristie Lee Wilson and husband Doug of Owasso, OK, and Eric Gwartney and wife Amy of Pryor, OK; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Lee Schaffitzel of Tulsa, OK, and Chesney and Bently Gwartney of Pryor, OK. She is preceded in death by her husband, Audie Lee Brazeal and brother, Bill Cooper.
