Nettie Rush

Nettie R. Rush, 45, of Chouteau, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born September 8, 1971 to Junior Rush and Lucille (Farris) Rush in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was a loving wife to her husband and mother to her sons, Corey, David and Levi Rush. She enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. Nettie had a love for jewelry and antiques. She leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in the Lone Chapel Cemetery in Pryor, Oklahoma. Visitations will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 9, 2017 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. Nettie R Rush is survived by her son's father and husband of 20 years Jim Maddox of Chouteau; sons, Corey Rush and wife Amanda of Chouteau, Oklahoma, David Rush of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, Levi Rush of Indiana; brothers, Vernon Zimmers and wife Sharon of Tulsa, David Rush of Bakersfield California; sisters, Doris Tatum of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Maxine Welch of Henryetta, Oklahoma; 2 grandchildren, Lily Rush and Wyatt Rush. She is preceded in death by her parents, Junior and Lucille Rush; late husband, Gary Swafford; sister, Mary.
