Ollie Drywater

Ollie Mae Louise Shrum Drywater, 82, of Adair, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at her home in Adair, Oklahoma. She was born in Barnsdall, Oklahoma on April 4, 1932, the daughter of John F. Lloyd and Mary Elizabeth Philpot Lloyd. She worked for Peterson's Chicken Plant for many years. Ollie enjoyed being outdoors, camping, fishing and gardening. She loved her Lord and enjoyed attending church at Blue Springs and going to church singing at Cedar Grove in Locust Grove. She enjoyed cooking and watching westerns. Ollie dearly loved her family and her time with her grandchildren. She will be so very missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 2 p.m. in the Blue Springs Church with Reverend Lorne Beck officiating. Interment will be in the Graham Memorial Cemetery with Terry Garrison, Jerry Garrison Jr., Benny Shrum Jr, Dewayne Tedford Jr. and Tim Polk serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers are Dylan Morton, Larry Sanders and Nick Morton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday evening. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Boswell and husband, Richard of Adair, OK, Mary Bruffett and husband, Jimmy of Adair, OK, Barbara Polk and husband, Tom of Tulsa, OK; half sister, Judy Chronister; 2 step sisters, Etta Campbell of OK and Vergie Meeks of OK; 18 grandchildren; 66 great grandchildren and 26 great great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded by her parents, John and Mary Lloyd; husband, Benjamin Franklin Shrum; two daughters, Martha Garrison and Betty Jo Shrum; son, Benjamin Franklin Jr.; son in law, Jerry Wayne Garrison; 1 grandchild, James Thomas Polk, Jr.; two great grandchildren, Latisha Lynn Thorton and Tasha Kristine Hamilton.
