Orgel Lynn Myers, 67, of Salina, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at his home. He was born on November 30, 1952 in Great Bend, Kansas; the son of Roy and Thelma (McWhirt) Myers. Orgel faithfully served our country in the United States Navy for over 20 years. He served on the Nimitz, the Nation’s first nuclear warship. In the early 2000’s, Orgel started his own business, M & M Heat and Hair. He enjoyed being outdoors and casting his fishing pole whenever he got the chance. He also loved woodworking and tinkering with projects around the house. Orgel was a loving father, grandfather, and friend who will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Orgel is survived by his sons, Orgel Myers Jr. and wife Jennifer of Salina, Oklahoma and James Reed of Memphis, Tennessee; daughter, Amanda Myers of Mississippi; sisters, Cozette Myers of Parson, Kansas, Ruthie Myers of Parsons, Kansas and Sheila Myers of Wallace, Kansas; grandchildren, Joshua Kaler, Addison Kaler, Elijah Bing, Kaden Bailey, Starr Bailey, Preston Myers, Arrianna Phillips, Sean Phillips, and Raelyn Myers; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Thelma; daughter, Joy Bailey; and brothers, Clarence and Joe Myers.
