Pamela Sue Ray, 65, of Chouteau, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on September 3, 1958, in Nevada, Missouri. Pamela's departure leaves a void in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Pamela was a devoted and loving mother to her children and doted on her grandchildren. She found so much joy in playing with her grandchildren and creating memories with each of them. Pamela's unconditional love and nurturing spirit made her a constant source of comfort and support to her family. An upbeat soul who embraced life's simple pleasures. The sound of laughter filled the air whenever she organized family camping trips or hosted birthday parties for family members. These gatherings were always filled with love and laughter, creating cherished memories that will be cherished forever. Outside of her loving relationships, Pamela enjoyed spending time outdoors. Pamela Sue Ray's remarkable journey through life touched the hearts of many. Her love for her family will forever be remembered as a testament to her selflessness and devotion. She may no longer be physically present; her spirit will continue to guide and inspire those she loved most. Pamela will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, and all who knew her. May Pamela's legacy remind us to embrace life's joys, treasure our loved ones, and always hold on to the cherished moments in our hearts.

Pamela is survived by her son, Caleb Simpson of Chouteau, Oklahoma and Aaron Simpson of Lawton, Oklahoma; daughter, Brenda Graffenenstein of Chouteau, Oklahoma; brothers, Terry Forgey of Deerfield, Missouri, Rick Forgey of Deerfield, Missouri, and Robert Forgey of Washington; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Mark Ray; son, Oliver Mark Simpson, and daughter Sarah Lynn Simpson.
