Jay

Parcy Budder, 53, born on December 24, 1969, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Stanley Budder Sr. and Lorene (Whittington) Budder, passed away at his home in Jay, Oklahoma on Saturday, August 12, 2023. From a young age, Parcy embraced life's simple pleasures and found joy in every moment. He had a deep love for the outdoors and was often found gigging or playing softball. However, Parcy's greatest source of happiness was spending time with his family. He adored his grandkids, nieces, and nephews and made every effort to create lifelong memories with them. Exploring the creek together brought immeasurable delight to Parcy and those he loved. He enjoyed watching football, especially when it came to Tom Brady, the Patriots, and OU.

Parcy is survived by his wife Lisa Cochran-Budder of Kansas, OK; son Ashton Budder of Kenwood, OK; daughter Bridgette Budder of Tahlequah, OK; brother Leroy Leaf of Salina, OK; sisters Sharon Proctor of Colcord, OK, Carolyn Chumwalooky of Kenwood, OK,  Sheila Thomas and husband Brandon of Pryor, OK, and Briana Lamb and husband Keith of Kenwood; along with five grandchildren, Rylin Budder, Carter Budder, Elijay Ray Sands, Avery Jonah Caughman, and Phoenix Layleigh Ryan.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Lorene Budder; brother, Fred Leaf; sister, Melissa "Missy" Budder-Davis; paternal grandparents, Ned and Nellie (Scott) Budder; and maternal grandparents, Elwood Whittington and Arlene (Levi) Sac.

Parcy's legacy is one of love, laughter, and a zest for life. Though he may be physically gone, the memory of Parcy will forever be alive in the hearts of all who loved and admired him.
