Patricia Campbell, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on July 29, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on January 14, 1939, in Pryor, Oklahoma to her parents Harvey Mitchell and Clara (Whisnant) Spears. Throughout her life, Patricia had a passion for various hobbies and interests. Gardening brought her joy as she loved nurturing plants and watching them flourish.
Her creativity extended to painting, and she found solace in expressing herself through art. Patricia had a profound love for books and spent countless hours immersed in the pages of her favorite novels. Cooking was another talent of hers that she took great pride in as she delighted family and friends with delicious meals. Animals always held a special place in her heart, rescuing several over the years. Above all else, spending quality time with her loved ones and participating in family cookouts held a special place in her heart.
Patricia was an active member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and embraced every opportunity to ride. The freedom of the open road filled her spirit with exhilaration as she shared these memorable journeys with fellow riders. She attended the Cowboy Gatherin’ Church outside of Inola, OK. Patricia's passing leaves behind cherished memories for her loved ones.
She is survived by her loving husband Guy Campbell of the home. Her three sons include Robbie Hagar along with Debra Robbins of Pryor, OK; Mike Hagar and his wife Melissa of Pryor, OK; and Guy Roy Campbell and his wife Tracy of Fort Worth, Texas. Her daughter DeDe Hagar resides in Snyder, Texas. She will forever be remembered by her grandchildren Amber Hagar; RaeAnn Cochran and her husband Clay; Jennifer Hagar; Nathan Hagar along with Amber; Elizabeth Hagar and Andrew; Becky Hagar; Sandra Tucker and Ryan. Patricia also leaves behind eight great- grandchildren who will carry her legacy in their hearts. Among those grieving Patricia's loss are her sisters Cherry Retter of Riverside, CA; Theresa Borden of Pryor; and nephew JC Chidester along with wife Karen of Pryor. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Clara; sister Louise Chidester, as well as her niece Jacque Colclazier and nephew Rick Chidester. Their memory will forever live on through shared stories and countless memories.
Patricia Campbell's life was one that exemplified love, devotion, and a genuine passion for family and friends. Her kind hearted nature touched the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her.
A Celebration of Life service is planned for August 9th at 10:00 am to be held at the Cowboy Gatherin’ Church, 30707 S 4240 Rd, Inola, OK 74036.
