Patricia Sue Holt

Patricia Sue Holt, 75, of Locust Grove, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022 surrounded by family and friends. She was born on December 5, 1946 in Locust Grove, Oklahoma; the daughter of James and Chloe (Mitchell) Griffin. Patricia was the youngest of 7 siblings.  She married Ronnie Holt on January 20, 1978 and they celebrated 23 years of marriage before his passing on June 17, 2001. Patricia loved her nursing career, various home health agencies and worked for Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Chouteau for many years before retiring. She looked forward to going fishing, going to the casino, and worked also as a beautician and real estate agent. Patricia and Ronnie owned and operated Holt Bait and Tackle in Locust Grove, Oklahoma. She had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and her world revolved around them. Patricia was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and leaves behind many memories for her family to remember.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 20, 2022 in the Hogan Cemetery in Locust Grove. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Shipman’s Funeral Home in Pryor. Patricia is survived by her son, Otis Holt and wife Michelle; brother, Duke Griffin; 3 grandchildren, Dee, Leo, and Amelia; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Chloe Griffin; husband, Ronnie Holt; son, Shawn Holt; and many other siblings and family.
