Patricia Ann Howell, 77, of Spavinaw, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2019 in Claremore, Oklahoma. She was born on February 23, 1942 in Tulsa, Oklahoma; the daughter of WWII Veteran, who served on the USS Hornett Aircraft Carrier, Clarence Gaylord and Edith (Kaiser) Gaylord. She graduated from Will Rogers High School. Patricia married Doug Fellinger, and was later married to John Howell. Patricia and John enjoyed traveling during their retirement years and looked forward to seeing new sights. When she wasn’t traveling, she enjoyed her flowers, watching her many hummingbirds around her home and walking. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 27, 2019 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jerold Pilant officiating. Burial will follow in the Spavinaw Strang Cemetery with Brad Crawford, Kevin Record, Joe Watkins, Brian Wilson, Christian Wilson, and Anthony Proctor serving as casket bearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Shipman’s Funeral Home. Patricia is survived by her sons, Chris Fellinger and wife Ann of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Mark Fellinger and wife Brenda of Salina, Oklahoma and Travis Fellinger and wife Alisha of Hawaii; 4 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; 11 great grand grandchildren and twin boys’ great grandsons; 1 great great granddaughter on the way; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Edith Gaylord and husband, John Howell; brother, Clarence “Sailor” Gaylord.
