Patricia Richardson

Patricia Lou Richardson, 93, passed away, on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at Hillcrest Hospital in Claremore, Oklahoma. She was born on October 12, 1926 in Blackwell, Ok.  to Paul B. and Ruth E. (Haslam) Randall. She grew up in Blackwell and maintained a lifetime friendship with many of her childhood friends.  After high school she attended nurses training at St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa.  She was joined in marriage on April 18, 1945 to Kenneth A. Richardson.  They raised two children who were 20 years apart in age. Making a home for her family was her greatest joy in life. In addition, she had many interests and hobbies, which were; reading, gardening, camping, traveling the U.S., Canada & Mexico and cruises, taking two to Hawaii and one to Alaska. She also, had a great love of dogs. A donation account will be set up in her name at the Tulsa SPCA.

Due to the current concerns about the COVID-19 virus, a Celebration of Her Life will be held at a later date. Her son, Bruce, and daughter, Randa, are looking forward to seeing friends and family at that time.

Patricia is survived by her son; Bruce Richardson and wife Martha of Tucson, daughter; Randa Smaligo & husband Norman of Pryor, grandsons; Norman Smaligo & wife Diana of Tulsa, & Scott Smaligo of Tulsa.  Two great grandsons; Tyler Smaligo and Rylan Smaligo both of Tulsa.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth A. Richardson, infant son Kirk Allen Richardson, father, Paul B. Randall, mother, Ruth E. (Haslam) Randall and brother Kent Randall.
