Patricia Ann (Pat) Brown, Pryor Oklahoma Was born February 8, 1930 in Pomona California to Grace and Stanley Mc Murray of Windom Kansas. Pat grew up in Windom Kansas where she excelled in singing. She met her high school sweetheart Jerry Brown there and they were married in 1946. In 1954 they moved from Mc Pherson Kansas to Pryor Oklahoma. Jerry preceded her in death in 1986. Pat worked at several retail stores including Sharpe's and co-owned a gift shop in downtown Pryor, sold real estate and worked at Greene's funeral home. Pat sang in the first church of God choir and at weddings for many years. She was also a member of the Elks club.
Pat leaves behind 3 children: Priscilla (Robert) Calvert, Jasper Indiana. Candace Pollard, Springfield Missouri, and Scott Brown, Joplin Missouri. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, Ryan, Justin, and Melanie Calvert, Aaron Pollard, and Tera and lacy Brown. Pat is survived by her only sibling, Royce Mc Murray of Mc Pherson Kansas, and a cousin Betty Grubb of Manhattan, Kansas. Pat also leaves behind 12 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many good friends. Besides her husband, Pat was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Patricia Alaina Pollard and Scott Ross Brown.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2021 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 15, 2021 at Shipman’s Funeral Home.
