Patty Dobbs

Patty Jane Dobbs, 83, of Pryor, Oklahoma, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Patty was born on August 25, 1927 in Mansfield, Missouri, the daughter of Arthur Kelly and Bess (Young) Kelly. She married Billy R. Dobbs on September 8, 1950 in Rogers, Arkansas. They moved to Pryor in August of 1989 from Alice, Texas. Patty was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pryor. She was a former member of the Keenagers and the church choir. Patty enjoyed crocheting and cake decorating. She was a lovely lady of faith who dearly loved her Lord and her family. Funeral Services for Patty will be held on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church in Pryor with Larry Lees and Reverend Roger Littleton officiating. Interment will be in the Elm Springs Cemetery at Elm Springs, Arkansas at 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon with Stanley Lee, Nelson Devers, Rusty Cheney, Jake Armstrong, Raymond Jarboe and Bob Clapper serving as casket bearers. Dobbs of the home; her son, Donald Dobbs of Pryor, OK; her daughter, Linda Worley of Pryor, OK; two brothers, Arthur Kelly Jr. and wife, Jeanne of Anderson, CA and Paul Kelly and wife, Jenny of Colorado Springs, CO; three grandchildren, Melissa Holden of Pryor, Jennifer Dobbs of Pryor, OK and Bobby Dobbs of Independence, KS; two great grandchildren, Denny Holden and Taylor Holden; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Bess Kelly; two brothers, Ralph Kelly, Oleth Kelly and wife, Pat; one sister, Zola Cates; Mother and father in laws, Oscar and Leta Mae Dobbs; brother and sister-in-laws, Wayne and Wilma Dobbs; one special nephew, Wallace Kelly.
