Paul Conn

Paul Ray Conn, 74, of Salina, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011 in Salina, Oklahoma. He was born on April 14, 1937 in Covina, California, the son of John V. Conn and Bessie (Golden) Conn. Paul enjoyed playing guitar and wrote many of his own songs. He enjoyed listening and playing gospel music. Paul loved children although he never had any of his own; he was a favorite uncle to all. He dearly loved his Lord and his family and will be so very missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral Services will be held for Paul on Friday, November 11, 2011 at noon, in the Sleepy Hollow Hills House of Prayer with Reverend Loretta Lane officiating. Interment will be in the Ross-Mayes Cemetery with Troy Lane, Justin Lane, Wayne Lane, Michael Wilson, Daniel Woolman and D. J. Carter serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends and family at the church after 5 p.m. on Thursday evening. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Paul is survived by his sisters, Margaret Cook and husband, D.J. of Pryor, OK and Opal Carter and husband, Sam of Salina, OK; a host of nieces and nephews; many friends.
