Paul Crecelius

Paul Crecelius, 68, of Pryor, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was born on September 14, 1950 in Chicago Heights, Indiana; the son of Paul, Sr. and Georgia Crecelius. Paul faithfully served his country in the United States Army. He worked in the trucking industry for over 24 years, working for JB Hunt Company. Paul has lived in the Mayes County area since 1991 and was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God. He loved going to car races and spending time with his kids and grandkids. He loved people, and visiting, he never met anyone that didn’t like him. Paul was a kind, gentle soul and of high integrity. He leaves behind a wonderful legacy for his family to cherish.

Paul is survived by his wife, Shirley Richie Crecelius of the home; sons, Virgil Richie and wife Kristin of Indiana, Jason Crecelius and wife Jennifer of Indiana, and Shane Crecelius and wife Emily of Indiana; daughters, Kim Nolcheff and husband Nick of Arizona, Megan Lanham and husband Kevin of Pryor, Oklahoma, and Rachael Nichols and husband Erik of Adair, Oklahoma; and grandchildren, Hannah, Ryan, Amber, Josh, Anna, Caleb, Weston, Julia, Oden, Faith, Jenna, Austin, Mariah, Cougar, Journey, Presley, and Remy. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth, Richard and Jim; and sisters, Onita and Pauletta.
