Paul Littlefield

June 27, 1958 — November 24, 2010

Paul Wayne Littlefield, 52, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday evening on November 24, 2010 near his home, doing what he loved best, riding his bike. He was born on June 27, 1958 in St. Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Paul and Nancy (Gundy) Littlefield. Paul Wayne attended Pryor High School where he was active in football and wrestling, graduating in the class of 1976. He worked for E B Construction and Georgia Pacific. Paul Wayne always had a smile on his face and never said a bad word about anyone. He was so proud of his daughter and sons and their accomplishments in school and life. He coached Jacey for countless hours in softball for years with lots of love and encouragement. He helped coach his sons in baseball, football and weight lifting. Paul Wayne would watch their games and participate from the sidelines, always there to cheer them on. He loved to take them noodling, fishing and hunting. Paul Wayne would fish for days to have enough fish to feed huge crowds of his buddies and their families for celebrations such as the 4th of July, or it was always a good time to have a fish fry for family and friends. The O.U. Sooners was his favorite football team, but he was a fan of O.S.U. too. He would be quick to let you know that his cousins were coaches for these teams. He was proud and enjoyed keeping up with those Gundy boys. He was known for his strong physical strength, which he took pride in especially when he was Arm Wrestling for competition. Paul Wayne enjoyed riding his bike and listening to his favorite music artist, Hank Williams Jr. He was always willing to help anyone with anything. He had a big heart and it showed with all of the friends he has today. Funeral Services for Paul Wayne will be held on Monday, November 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Pryor with Reverend Randy Thorman officiating. Interment will be in the Ross-Mayes Cemetery with Jeff Longcrier, Bud Finney, Scott England, Bob Goins, Jason Mitchell and Jerry Pritchett serving as casket bearers.
