Pauline Smoke - Meashintubby

Pauline Smoke – Meashintubby, 63, of Salina, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on October 3, 1957 in Claremore, Oklahoma; the daughter of Sam and Goldie (Dreadfulwater) Smoke. Pauline worked in housekeeping for many years at Salina Care Center and also for individuals around the area. She loved her Lord and attended Euwasha Baptist Church until her health had declined. She looked forward to playing Bingo and playing board and card games with her family. She was also known for her Frybread and was called upon by everyone in the area to make it for them. Pauline loved her family and enjoyed each moment she had to spend with them. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 25, 2021 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Richard Budder officiating. Burial will follow in the Jack Ribbon Cemetery with Chris Smoke, Steve Smoke, Derik Smoke, Josh Smoke, Eric Smoke, Sky Smoke, JR Smoke, Andy Smoke, Jaime Hair, and Dustin Moore serving as casket bearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 24, 2021 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. Pauline is survived by her sons, Sam Smoke and wife Amy of Spavinaw, Oklahoma and Warrior Meashintubby; daughter, Nicole Payne and husband Casey of Salina, Oklahoma; brothers, William Smoke and wife Deborah of Peggs, Oklahoma, Billy Smoke and Judy of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, Andrew Smoke and wife Brenda of Vinita, Oklahoma, Smokey Dreadfulwater and wife Brenda of Seattle, Washington, and Johnny Smoke of Jay, Oklahoma; sister, Virginia Young of Spavinaw, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Goldie Smoke; brother, Joe Smoke, Sanford Smoke; and sister, Vivian Hair.
