Pearl Marble

Pearl Backwater Marble was born on February 20, 1923 in Kenwood, Oklahoma to William Backwater Alsie (Wickliffe) Backwater. She passed away on August 27, 2009 in Pryor, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years 6 mo. 7 days. Pearl was a lifelong resident of the Kenwood Salina, Ok area. She had been employed by the Kenwood School as a cook for several years. She loved to quilt, garden can the fruits of her labor. But most of all she loved just being with her family and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 29, 2009 in the Euwasha Baptist Church of Kenwood, Ok Rev. Lorene Beck will officiate and burial will be also in the Euwasha Cemetery. She was preceded in death by: her first husband Yahola Hair, 1-Daughter: Mary Folmar in 1999, 1-Brother: Jim Backwater, 1-sister: Lucille Squirrel her parents.
