Peggy Ann Hendrickson Ervin, 81, of Adair, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in Claremore. She was born on July 4, 1937 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma; the daughter of Earnest and Norma (Haile) Windle. Peggy graduated Chelsea High School in 1955 and was married to Lewey Hendrickson after graduation, he preceded her in death on January 19, 1993. After some years later, she met and married Bud Ervin. He preceded her in death on January 23, 2001. Peggy enjoyed working crossword puzzles, and interior decorating. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2019 in the Lone Chapel Assembly of God in Pryor with Reverend Rick Walden officiating. Burial will follow in the Lone Chapel Cemetery with Duane Brown, Craig Hendrickson, Josh Hendrickson, and Henry Thompson serving as casket bearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 22, 2019 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. Peggy is survived by her son, Craig Hendrickson of Adair, Oklahoma; daughter, Denise Jennings of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; 2 grandchildren, Katie Hendrickson of Pryor, Oklahoma and Josh Hendrickson of Pryor, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Norma Windle; husbands, Lewey Hendrickson and Bud Ervin; brother, Max Windle; and sister, Phyllis Love.
