Pete Wolfe

Pete Wolfe, 77, of Salina, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013 in Salina, Oklahoma. He was born on September 8, 1936 in Kenwood, the son of Paul and Myrtle (Williams) Wolfe. He married his love, Jessica Shook, who passed away one day after him. He was a 77 year resident of Mayes county. Pete worked as a Cemetery Caretaker most of his life for Tulsa cemeteries and Bryan Chapel Cemetery. He loved to fish and to spend time outdoors. He also enjoyed working with his tractor and in his yard. He loved to spend time with family and those who he loved most. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2013 in Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jeff Dykes officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 29, 2013 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. He is survived by 8 sons; Billy Wolfe of Salina, Pete Wolfe of Muskogee, OK, David Wolfe of Muskogee, OK, Bruce and wife Paula Wolfe of Maize, OK, Peter Neal Wolfe of Pryor, OK, Rodney James of Salina, OK, Frank and wife Nettie Harris of Madill, OK, and Floyd Harris and wife Lisa of Salina, Ok; 1 daughter, Jeanette Sitsler and husband David of Salina, OK; 3 sisters, Erma Sanford of Lawton, OK, Pauling Suddarth of Salina, OK, and Sharon Reynolds of Crandon, WI; 20 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Annie Mullin and Wanda Daniels; 1 brother, Willie Wolfe; 1 daughter, Diane Wolfe, and 1 granddaughter Kinzie Harris.
