Philip Leonard Dodge, 63, of Pryor, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021at his home. He was born on August 4, 1957 in Quincy, Illinois; the son of John and Mary (Harness) Dodge. Philip faithfully served his country in the United States Airforce for over 20 years and was stationed in Japan. After retiring, he started doing contract work for the Air Force and worked on the flight line as an airline mechanic. When he wasn’t working, he loved to listen to music and guitar and in his earlier years, enjoyed scuba diving while in Japan. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He leaves behind many memories for his family to cherish.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 26, 2021 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplin Troy Johnston officiating. Philip is survived by his son, Philip Dodge and Katie Easterling of Panama City, Florida; daughter, Heather Dodge and Austin Reed of Marianna, Florida; brothers, John Dodge and Kim of Iowa, and Matt Dodge and Carla of Missouri; sister, Chris Ehrhardt of Illinois; 1 granddaughter, Violet Luna Dodge; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Dodge.
