Philip Helferich

Philip Theodore Helferich, 87, of Pryor, passed from this life on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at his home. He was born on February 9, 1933 in Fort Dodge, Iowa; the son of Philip Herbert and Eunice (Arabella) Helferich. Philip faithfully served our country for many years as a Sergeant in the Marines. He later went to work for Aerospace. Philip enjoyed being outdoors. He loved to fish, travel, and watch horse races. A loving father, grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Philip is survived by his sons, Philip Helferich, Bill Helferich, James Helferich, and Pat Helferich and wife Michelle all of California; daughter, Johawn Helferich of Indiana; numerous grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margie; parents, Philip and Eunice; and brother, Pat.
