Phyllis Doede

Phyllis Mae Doede, 90, of Claremore, passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018 in Claremore. She was born on December 1, 1927 in Tomahawk, Wisconsin; the daughter of Anton and Elizabeth (Radloff) Schmitt. Phyllis married Glenn Doede in 1948 in Wisconsin and moved to Oklahoma in the 1980's. Phyllis was employed by Marathon Electric Manufacturing Company in Wausau for 30 years, retiring as an administrative assistant. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, going fishing and tending to her flowers. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m,. Saturday, September 8, 2018 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Mewbourne officiating. Phyllis is survived by her son, Steve Doede and wife Nancy of Claremore, Oklahoma; daughter, Christine Ursin and husband John of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Becky (Doede) Perkins and husband Aaron Perkins; great grandson, Miles Perkins; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Elizabeth Schmitt; husband, Glenn Doede; and brother, Herb Schmitt.
