Pollie Ann Hitchcock, 70, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2014 in Salina, Okahoma. She was born on September 20, 1944 in Murphy, Oklahoma, the daughter of Tony Sullateskee and Maggie (Tucker) Sullateskee. Pollie married Herman Hitchcock on May 28, 1976 in Miami, Oklahoma. She worked in the Mid America Yarn Mill in Pryor, Oklahoma and Peterson's & Simmons in Arkansas. Pollie lived in the Locust Grove and Salina area her entire life. She enjoyed playing bingo, dominos, working crossword puzzles and listening to gospel music. She was a great cook and specialized in homemade pies. Pollie loved spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren. A loving mother and grandmother who will be so very missed by all who loved her. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Blue Springs Church with Reverend Lorne Beck officiating. Interment will be in the Ballou Cemetery with Mike Bark, Christopher Buchannon, Tony Ballou, Garrett Scott, Jacob Vernon and Chad Taylor serving as casket bearers. She is preceded in death by husband, Herman Hitchcock; parents, Tony and Maggie Sullateskee; brothers, Tony Jr. and Hasting William Sullateskee; sisters, Gladys Sullateskee, Mary Panther, Joan Ballou and Nellie Panther.
