Ralph Martin

Ralph Owen Martin, 66, of Salina, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017 in Tulsa. He was born on January 9, 1951 in San Bernardino, California; the son of Marvin and Helen (Roberts) Martin. He married Lou Ella Bruton on December 16, 1978 in San Bernardino, California. He worked as a foreman for a rock and gravel plant most of his life and retired as a tractor mechanic. Ralph loved the outdoors, especially when he could go hunting and fishing. He also looked forward to spending time with his grandchildren and watching them play their sports. He leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Lou Ella Martin of the home; daughters, Kimberly Metcalf and
husband Chad of North Carolina, Carrie Jones and husband Nate of California, Kelli Robbins and significant other Angela Castro of California, and Candi Mendivil and husband Jack of Pryor, Oklahoma; brothers, Clyde Martin of California and Charles Martin and wife Lynn of California; sisters, Esther Tate and husband Allen of Idaho, Letevia Boese and husband David of California, Beverly Metheny and husband Emory of California and Pamela Easley and husband Dwight of California. 6 grandsons, Jared Metcalf, Dylan Metcalf, Nolan Hardin, Cody Metcalf, Gaige Mendivil, and Kane Neill; and 4 great grandchildren; Colton Metcalf, Aidan Metcalf, Bailey Metcalf, and Scarlett Metcalf; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Helen Martin; and sister, Mary Thacker.
