Ray Large

Ray Alton Large, 64, of Claremore, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2013 in Inola, Oklahoma. Ray was born on June 6, 1948, the son of Marcus and Eunice (Payton) Frailey. He worked as a welder and carpenter for the Carpenters Union #943 of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ray married Mildred Peters on February 24, 1965 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his family. He was a wonderful man who will be so missed by all who knew and loved him. Cremation Arrangements are under the direction of Shipman's Funeral & Cremation Service. Ray is survived by his wife, Mildred Large, of the home; 2 sons, Scott and wife Kelly Large of Houston, Texas and Jason and wife Mandy Large of Claremore, Oklahoma; 1 daughter, Tammy and husband Ernest Saleido of Verdigris, Oklahoma; 1 brother, Ricky Large of Owasso, Oklahoma; 1 sister, Lucy Farmer of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren; also many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Eunice Frailey; 1 granddaughter, Amber Wiley; 2 sisters, Wynona Lawson and Kimberly Payton.
