Raymond Wilson

Raymond Wilson, 70, of Pryor, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on July 27, 1944 in Pryor; the son of William Raymond Wilson & Mary Irene (Willyard) Wilson. Raymond married Ruby Blagg on September 4, 1962 in Kerman, California and together raised 3 children. Raymond enjoyed the outdoors, especially when he was fishing, camping or flying single engine planes. He also loved to ride motorcycles. He always enjoyed traveling with Ruby and spending time together. Raymond also had a love for the Dallas Cowboys. He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Pryor. He leaves behind many memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 7, 2014 in the Shipman Funeral Home Chapel. Raymond is survived by his wife, Ruby Wilson of the home; his son Gary "Shorty" Wilson and wife Shelly of Pryor, Oklahoma; his daughters, Tari Ables and husband Bob of Pryor, Oklahoma and Deanna Kilgore and husband Stephen of Pryor, Oklahoma; brother, Rick Wilson and wife Darlene of Pryor, Oklahoma; sister Wyvonna Gier of Oatman, Arizona; 7 grandchildren, James William Ables, Wyvonna Mae Ables, Cory Ray Wilson, Derek Scott Wilson, Timothy Ryan Wilson, Tiffani Lynn Cowgill, and Tori Nusz; 12 great grandchildren and one on the way; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Wilson.
