Reba Folk

Reba Fern Folk, 99 years, closed the door on her temporal dwelling on earth, and began her eternal dwelling forever with Christ her Lord and Saviour, on Saturday June 13, 2020.  She was born April 11, 1921, the daughter of Hoppy and Linnie Hopkins.

Reba married Henry Charles Folk, together they had a son Herman Folk. She was preceded in death by her husband and a good friend Linda Parsons. Special friends of mention Maxine Walker, Rev. Jack and Florence Shaffer and Rev. Darrell and Carolyn Meadow as well as a host of special church family too many in number to list.

Reba Fern Folk spent her life as a godly holiness woman of faith, and of prayer.  To the end she loved the scriptures, and the fellowship of the saints. She loved to sing and had a ministry with her husband distributing gospel tracts. She spent many years with Boeing from which she retired.

The celebration of her life will be held at Shipman’s Funeral Home, Pryor, OK.  Visitation will be held Thursday, June 18, 2020, from 4:30 – 6:30, with the funeral to follow at 7:00 PM.  Private graveside will follow Friday, Rose Cemetery, Locust Grove, where she will be laid to rest beside Henry to await the final resurrection of the body.  Pastor Matthew Radcliffe, Trinity Pentecostal Church will officiate.
