Rhonda Shultz, cherished wife, loving mother, devoted sister, and doting grandmother, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on March 20, 1959, as Rhonda Caldwell, she lived a life marked by her unwavering dedication to family, her faith, and the joys of teaching and nurturing children.
Rhonda's professional journey took her into the world of education, where she found fulfillment working with the Pre-K students at Park Lane ECC. Her passion for teaching extended beyond the classroom; Rhonda was a beloved figure in her community, where she taught Sunday school and led Children's Church, instilling values and nurturing the spirit of many young lives. Her commitment to education and mentorship left an indelible mark on her students and their families.
A true enthusiast for family activities, Rhonda relished the time spent watching her son race at stock car events, embracing the exhilarating atmosphere and supporting her son with pride. Her love for home life was profound, and she found immense joy in creating a nurturing environment for her loved ones. One of her favorite pastimes included enjoying the swimming pool throughout the summer with her grand-daughter. Rhonda will be remembered for her profound love for her family, her contributions to her community, and her unwavering faith. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Rhonda is survived by her husband, Greg Shultz, who shared a beautiful bond with her throughout their life together. She is also survived by her sons, Burris James Shultz and Kendall Byron, and her daughter, Kendra Ann Young and husband Nikolaas. Rhonda treasured her role as a grandmother to Aritrea Young and took great joy in the laughter and love shared within her family. Additionally, she leaves behind her sisters, Terry Brewer and Pam Fox, both of Broken Arrow, OK.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Burris and Mary Caldwell.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the House of Prayer in Tulsa with Reverend Bill Parks officiating. Interment will follow at the Vernon Cemetery in Coweta with Burris Shultz, Kendall Shultz, Nikolaas Young, Scott Loper, Chad Davis and Jeff Armbrister serving as casket bearers.
