Ricky Buzzard

Ricky Ray Buzzard , 53, of Kenwood, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020 in Colcord, Oklahoma. He was born on April 23, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Fallen and Wanda (Weso) Buzzard. He worked for many years as a mechanic and loved working on cars. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially when he was able to go fishing. He was a wonderful father, brother, and grandfather who leaves behind many memories for his family to cherish.

Services have been changed to a graveside service at Clouds Creek Cemetery at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2020 in Colcord, Oklahoma with Reverend Stanley Grass officiating. Burial will follow in the Clouds Creek Cemetery with Quinton Linn, Frankie Buzzard, Angel Buzzard, Alfred Sixkiller, William Buzzard, and Jerry Tagg serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Anthony Proctor and Jimmy Bocanegra. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 29, 2020 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. Ricky is survived by his son, Randall Sixkiller of Pryor, Oklahoma; daughter, Talika Buzzard of Kansas, Oklahoma; brothers, Fallen Buzzard, Jr. and wife Belinda of Claremore, Oklahoma, C.J. Buzzard and wife Betty of Noel, Missouri, John Buzzard of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and Kenny Buzzard of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; sisters, Caroline Linn and husband Jerry of Watts, Oklahoma and Verna Vann and husband French of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; 4 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fallen and Wanda Buzzard.
