Robert Brown

Robert E. Brown, 84, of Owasso, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 in Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Robert was born on June 20, 1926 in Sperry, Oklahoma, the son of John L. Brown and Pearl Elizabeth (Smyth) Brown. He married Wanda Beaty on February 7, 1952 in Sperry, Oklahoma. Bob retired from ONG in 1986. He enjoyed antique clocks. Bob loved and enjoyed his spending time with his family, especially spending time with his grandsons. He loved being at his farm, riding his tractor and being outdoors. He enjoyed watching football and Nascar. He will be so very missed by all who knew and loved him. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Rest Haven Cemetery at Sperry, Oklahoma with Reverend Don Queen officiating. Casket bearers include, Robert Brown, Dex Brown, Christopher Brown, Cole Carr and Wesley Carr. He is survived by his wife, Wanda (Beaty) Brown of the home; his son, Robert Brown and wife, Stephannie of Pryor, OK; his grandsons, Dex Brown of Tulsa, OK and Christopher Brown of Pryor, OK; his brother, Johnny Brown of Skiatook, OK; a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.
