Roberta Miller

Roberta L. Miller, 75, of Chouteau, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in Claremore, Oklahoma. She was born on July 7, 1942 in Eucha, Oklahoma; the daughter of Jess and Bonnie (Rogers) Hutchison. She married Larry Miller on May 2, 1960, and together had 1 son, Larry Miller, Jr. Roberta worked most of her life as a YGS-3 Supervisor for Department of Human Services. She enjoyed the outdoors and going fishing. She also looked forward to going shopping and spending time reading. Roberta was a member of the Chouteau Church of Christ. She leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 27, 2017 in the Chouteau Church of Christ in Chouteau with Brother Steve Lay officiating. Burial will follow in the Rowe Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, November 26, 2017 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor. Roberta is survived by her husband, Larry Miller, Sr. of the home; son, Larry Miller, Jr. of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brother, David Hutchison of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; sister, Pamela James of Plano, Texas; great nieces, Molly Palmer and Amanda Inman and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Bonnie Hutchison, and sister, Glenda.
