Roger Sedgwick

Roger Lewis Sedgwick, 79, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on September 24, 1937, in Columbus, Nebraska, the son of Albert and Minnie (Boyd) Sedgwick. Roger enlisted at the age of seventeen and faithfully
served his Country in the United States Navy. After serving his Country he worked as a self-employed carpenter, and he also was a jeweler for 20 years. He enjoyed everything outdoors, fishing, hunting, and traveling. He loved gambling so he would travel to Las Vegas and Tunica so he could shoot craps. Roger was a wonderful friend and will be fondly remembered by his family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Darwin Sedgwick of Pryor, Oklahoma; daughter, Clara Faye of California; companion, Sharon Rowland of Chouteau; brother, Ron Sedgwick and wife Barbara of Pryor, Oklahoma, sister, Mary Lou Crimmins and husband Joe of Midland, Texas; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Minnie Sedgwick; brother, Darwin Sedgwick; wife, Barbara Sedgwick.
