Roger Wright

Billie Roger Wright was born January 20, 1944 in Vinita, Oklahoma to Walter William and Bessie Maxine (Smith) Wright. He fell asleep in death August 8, 2023. Roger is survived by his wife, Cindy K (Harris) Wright, daughter Kimberly Dawn (Wright) Ledbetter, and grandchildren Seth Brooks Ledbetter, and Erin Kaylee Ledbetter, his sister Darlene Carpenter and husband Terry, brother Roy Wright, other nieces and nephews and many many friends. 

Roger grew up in Ketchum and Vinita, OK. He loved animals. He was a bull rider in his younger days, then he came to his senses! He was a brick and rock mason and laid block foundations for many years. He love to work. 

Roger was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on April 24, 1971, and served as an elder in the Pryor Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He loved telling people about God’s Kingdom and what it will do for mankind, and helping people learn more about the Bible.

Roger always wanted to make people laugh and enjoyed telling jokes and stories. He was kind and generous, always ready to help someone in need. He was loved by young and old, and he will be missed by many.
