Ronald Barfield, Sr.

Ronald A Barfield Sr., 75, of Pryor, passed away Friday, November 15th, 2019 in Pryor Oklahoma. He was born April 15th, 1944 in Tampa, Florida; the son of Walter and Thelma (Hassar) Barfield. Ronald married Dorothy Burchfield on October 13, 1962 in California. He worked as a truck driver most of his life.  Ronald enjoyed fishing and small engine repair work, among other things. He looked forward to attending dinners at Strang Community building and going to services at The Gathering Church. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, on November 29th, 2019 at The Gathering Church in Adair with pastor Josh Greer officiating. Ronald is survived by his son, Ron Barfield, Jr and wife Diana of Adair, Oklahoma; 5 Daughters, Laura Barfield of Pryor, Oklahoma, Naomi Gibson of Pryor, Oklahoma, Norma Rademacher and husband Duane of Beggs, Oklahoma, Julie Berta of Lenexa, Kansas, and Karin Anderson and husband Roy of Arkansas; brother; Roger Christian of Florida; 14 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Thelma Barfield; wife, Dorothy Barfield, brother, Steve Barfield, and 3 grandchildren.
