Ronald DeWayne Young 69, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday May 21, 2016 in Pryor, Oklahoma. He was born March 14, 1947 in Herron, Ill., the son of Leonard and Virginia (Wilson) Young. He had lived in Pryor the last 50 years coming from Puebla, Colorado. Ron worked as a construction foreman and was a member of the Carpenters Union of Dallas, Texas. Ronald moved to Denver in 1977; working as superintendant and foreman for TIC. He received his minister's license on November 12, 2003 and was a member of the Pryor Mission Chapel. He loved his family and will be missed by all who knew & loved him. A memorial service will be held June 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., in the Pryor Rescue Mission Chapel. He is survived by his wife Wanda of the home, son, Rodney D. Young of Florida, stepsons Roy (Randy) Owen & wife Bobbie of Ill. James Troy Owen & wife Shelby of South Carolina, daughters, Katherine "Kassie" Young and husband Steve of Missouri, and Rebekah J. Young all of Pryor, OK; stepdaughter, Lawanna Owen and husband Curtis of Pryor, OK; Sisters, Victoria Young Wessels and husband Jim of Harrison, Arkansas; 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Virginia Young.
