Ronnie Smoke

Ronnie Smoke, passed away on June 9, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He was born on October 4, 1950, in Spavinaw, Oklahoma. Those who knew Ronnie will always remember him for his passion for tinkering around the house with cars and doing yard work. He found joy in watching baseball games, especially rooting for teams from New York and St. Louis. Engaging in a game of horseshoes or catching up on the latest wrestling matches were some of his favorite pastimes. Ronnie's family and friends will dearly miss his warm presence and the laughter he brought into their lives. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. In honoring Ronnie's life, let us find peace in the beautiful memories he has gifted us, and may we always carry his spirit with us as we move forward.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Shipman's Funeral & Cremation Service in Pryor. Graveside services will take place on Monday, June 17, 2024, starting at 2:00 PM at Jack Ribbon Cemetery in Spavinaw, Oklahoma. Ronnie is survived by his sons, Clint Smoke of Strang, Oklahoma, Walter Blackfox, Jr. of Oklahoma, Isaac Blackfox of Oklahoma, Matthew Blackfox of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jarrod Blackfox of Strang, Oklahoma, and Jessie Eugene Peckenpaugh of Pryor, Oklahoma; numerous grandchildren; and many great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Newt and Maggie (Ketcher) Smoke, and siblings, Henry Smoke, Luke Smoke, Sylvia Leach, Betty Smoke and Leroy Smoke.
