Rose Ellen Casey, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many, passed away on June 21, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on September 14, 1964, in Claremore, Oklahoma. Rose dedicated most of her life to working as cook at Claremore Indian Hospital. Her culinary skills were unmatched, and she poured her heart into every dish she created. Colleagues admired her talent and the warmth she brought to the hospital kitchen. Beyond her professional life, Rose's true joy came from her family. She adored her loved ones and took great pleasure in organizing memorable family gatherings. Her passion for cooking extended beyond the workplace; she found immense happiness in baking pies for her family and friends. Rose's generous spirit and nurturing soul touched everyone she encountered. She loved attending services at Blue Springs Church, Rose found peace in her faith and cherished her relationship with the Lord. Her presence brightened the congregation, and her faith was a guiding light in her life. In her leisure time, Rose enjoyed embarking on car rides to explore new places. The sense of adventure fueled her spirit, and each journey brought a smile to her face. In 2016, after a long-standing relationship since 1997, Rose married the love of her life, Danny Casey. Their union was a testament to enduring love and companionship. Rose Ellen Casey will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

She leaves behind her devoted husband Danny Casey of the home; sons, Danny Fisher and wife Devon of Salina, Oklahoma and Doyle Ketcher of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughters, Amy Fisher of Claremore, Oklahoma and Kary Fisher of Salina, Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; brothers, Mitch Ketcher and wife Charlene of Salina, Oklahoma, Charles Ketcher and Helen of Kansas, Oklahoma, Rick Ketcher of Salina, Oklahoma and Nick Ketcher and wife Dollie of Seligman, Missouri; sisters, Betty Smoke and husband Charles of Kenwood, Oklahoma and Loetta Bark of Salina, Oklahoma; and many other friends and family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Louise (Wickliffe) Ketcher; and siblings, Cleophas Simon and Thomas Ketcher.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 1, 2024, in the Blue Springs Church in Salina with Reverend Lorne Beck officiating. Burial will follow in the Euwasha Cemetery with Noah Bark, Ricky Ketcher, Forrest Smoke, Riley Smith, Colbey Rice, and Wyatt Rice serving as casket bearers. Visitation and wake service will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Shipman's Funeral Home in Pryor.
